Based in Saskatchewan, harmonicist Richie Pollack is known for his signature style, one that crosses genre lines with his accomplished work on the diatonic harmonica (blues harp / cross harp).
Currently with the Pile of Bones Brass band, Richie has performed with greats such as Harry Connick Jr., Charlie Wood, Billy Branch and Amos Garrett. He’s first call in the studio when clients like General Motors, Solomon Skis and Discovery Channel need a killer harmonica player.
Richie’s solo album Stew captured the ears and hearts of many for its sophisticated sound and his great vocal chops. The album was nominated for the Western Canadian Music Award nomination for Outstanding Blues Recording (2006) and continues to receive airplay.
