Dave Mowat

Alderville First Nations Chief, historian, and lifelong musician, Dave Mowat cut his teeth in Winnipeg during the eighties, experiencing the amazing scene and sharing the stage with some of the greats including Big Dave McLean. Dave saw, and was inspired by, other greats like John Lee Hooker, Jimmy Rogers, Johnny Winter, John Hammond Jr, Sam Lay, Otis Rush, and James Cotton. Dave's debut release, Crooked Road, was released in April of 2024, and was produced by Steve Marriner.
