Gerald Pocket King Warren
 
Gerald is a Chicago native, who has been known for many years for his unique talent. His songs, described as a “slick, contemporary pop groove” harbor a variety of styles and influences that create the original style that is Gerald Warren. Making a name for himself in Chicago as a drummer, yet not content to just sit at the back of the band keeping time, Gerald brought the drums to the forefront and became known for his creative drum playing.

Gerald is currently performing with the BB King experience. He has recorded for Grammy Award winning artist, Joss Stone, He is currently touring with Ernie Isley from the legendary Hall of Fame group, The Isley Brothers. Also tours with world-renown songstress Betty Wright whose hits include “Tonight is the Night,” “Clean-Up Woman” and “No Pain, No Gain.” When not touring, Gerald has a house gig as a beloved member of St. Louis singing sensation, Kim Massie’s band the Solid Senders which performs throughout the St. Lous area in the local club scene and for corporate events.

As a Music Director, Gerald has a knack for balancing various artists’ needs and successfully bringing together a wide variety of talents and personalities.

While working on the M.S. Southward Cruise Ship, Gerald seized an opportunity to appear in the Los Angeles television series “Baywatch” as a drummer in a club scene. He has also showcased his musical ability as a drummer in the hit play, “A Good Man is Hard to Find.”
