CHICAGO BLUES GUIDE - Never heard a soul voice especially one as deep and rich as Big LLou's combined with blues music. This album is truly as unique as his voice. So mused one scribe and they hit the nail on the head. Listening to Big LLou is like hearing Howlin' Wolf having a conversation with Barry White and Joe Cocker interjecting every now and then

Big LLou is a singer-songwriter, actor and radio personality. Some consider him the Voice of the Blues. Over two million blues lovers a week tune into BB Kings Bluesville, the world's biggest blues station on Sirius XM Satellite radio where he's heard daily.

His self titled debut blues album, "They Call Me Big LLou," was conceived and completed in two weeks. Fierce young Chicago harp player, Russ Green got producer credit and assembled a great band to bring LLou's brand of blues to the masses. The album was released on the Legendary Rhythm and Blues Cruise. A music video was shot and quickly got over 5 thousand views. Shortly thereafter he and Russ were accepting the prestigious 2013 Blues Music Award for Best New Artist Debut. Since then he's been inducted in the Chicago Blues Hall of Fame and has performed and hosted prestigious blues events worldwide.

Pat St. John - "Legendary DJ What a voice on this man and what a groove hes got going! A great new CD. Not since Barry White. Just fabulous, the ladies will really go nuts!"

"Since his debut he's been guest vocalist on numerous projects with artists like blues legend Bobby Rush, Grammy Nominated Blinddog Smokin' and Chicago slide master ... Diamond Jim Greene. "

Chicago Producer Keith Stewart wrote two tunes for LLou which were featured on DaMan Record's LongShot Session II, Love, Life & The Pursuit of Happiness. Raury, a hip hop recording artist newly signed to Columbia Records, called on the big man to add his vocals to his debut album, "All We Need."

A Chicago native, he's as comfortable on the big screen as he is on stage, he's voiced projects for Hollywood heavy weights George Lucas, Seth McFarlane and Chuck Lorre. A sought after emcee he hosts some of the biggest events in blues including, The Blues Music Awards, The Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruises and blues festivals internationally. His voiceover work has been Emmy Nominated and he won a Reed Awards for Best Political Voice Over in a commercial.

In 2013 he started Big LLou's Blues Hall of Fame Tribute Jam, a blues celebrity jam held annually in Memphis during Blues Music award week. The event has raised over $60,000. for blues charities.

A true blues Renaissance Man he hopes to continue the tradition of artists like Isaac Hayes, Rufus Thomas and Howlin' Wolf who also worked in radio and contributed so much to Americas musical landscape!
